Participation at the PACBB 2020 conference

The 14th International Conference on Practical Applications of Computational Biology & Bioinformatics (PACBB 2020) took place in L'Aquila (Italy) from 7th to 9nd October, although all the sessions were celebrated online due to the global pandemic.

The SING group participated with the following four contributions, all presented in the Bioinformatics and Biomedical applications session:

The first contribution, presented by R. Pérez-López; G. Blanco; F. Fdez-Riverola; A. Lourenço and entitled The activity of Bioinformatics developers and users in Stack Overflow, won the best paper award of this year's edition. Congratulations to our researchers!

We also took this opportunity to present Compi Hub, our public repository for sharing and discovering Compi pipelines, where the GenomeFastScreen pipeline, developed and presented in collaboration with Jorge Vieira an Cristina Vieira from the Phenotypic Evolution Group at i3S (Porto), is deposited.
